The following Haiti Mission Project trips are scheduled:

Here is a sample schedule for a typical week in Haiti (note: specific days will vary by trip/dates).


  • Saturday – Travel day. Arrive in Port-au-Prince. Unpack and sort through donations.

  • Sunday – Church and a visit to the beach with Compassion children

  • Monday – Work day

  • Tuesday – Work day and Hospital visit

  • Wednesday – Work day and siteseeing

  • Thursday – Work day and Orphanage visit

  • Friday - Work day and siteseeing

  • Saturday - Travel day. Return home


Each day also consists of morning and evening devotions, personal reflection time, and group hang out time (play cards, tell stories, etc.).We stay at a very nice (fairly "modern") guesthouse where we eat delicious Haitian meals ("American friendly") and enjoy the company of our Haitian friends (why go to another country if you're not going to get to know the people?).

The cost for a week-long Haiti mission trip is around $1,200 (per person) and this amount includes airfare, housing and transportation while in Haiti, extra medical insurance while in Haiti, most meals, and any extra trip-related expenses. Each group member is responsible for the entire cost of their trip.

Please note that we begin group meetings three months before each trip, so if you are interested in an upcoming trip it is very important that you let us know. If you're having a difficult time deciding whether to go on a trip, feel free to attend a meeting to help figure out what you're potentially getting yourself into and then make a decision when you're ready. Just note, each person is responsible for purchasing their own plane tickets, and prices tend to go up the longer you wait.
